Perhaps the famous marquee at the Chicago Theater should read: “When political worlds collide.”
The landmark theater will feature conservative talk show host and author Glenn Beck on April 14 — the same day that a frequent target of his criticism, President Barack Obama, is supposed to return home for a brief fundraising visit.
Tickets to “Glenn Beck Live” range from $35 to $95. Obama is coming back to his hometown to schmooze prominent Democratic fundraising bundlers who are being asked to raise $350,000 each by the end of the year in preparation for his re-election bid.
Chicago also is home to Obama’s re-election campaign headquarters.

We are five days past Right Nation 2010 already. I can’t believe it! As I sit down today at my computer. I still have an extra pep in my step. I’m more excited about this election cycle then I ever have been before. As I headed to the polls during 2008, my first year I could vote, I had an empty feeling in my heart. I knew it wasn’t going to be a good day and I knew I wasn’t the only one with that empty feeling. This year it is completely different. Everyone is so excited and they have every right to be! At the Right Nation event last Saturday we had an arena full of people that were just excited as I am. The energy in that arena was something that I had never seen before. When Glenn Beck took that stage at the Sears Center that place erupted in cheers. I found myself cheering like I was at a concert and the main star took the stage.
We have just 40 days till election! Time is flying, everyone is hard at work as well as they should be. We have to remember to keep working. Don’t let any poll or story discourage you from working hard. It doesn’t matter how much your candidate is ahead in the polls or behind in the polls. Just work hard and good things will happen.
Even if you don’t have a lot time if you can donate just an hour or two of your time to walk in a local parade or go door to door to hand out signs and literature that will go along way in turning this country around.
I want to thank Fran Eaton, Keith Liscio and the entire Right Nation 2010 staff. They volunteered so much of their time and are truly deserving of this thank you. I can’t wait for the 2011 Right Nation event!
In the name of ‘ending the hate’ Democratic Party Protesters use homosexual slurs against Andrew Breitbart, and engage in name calling, using terms like ‘crazy’ and ‘tea baggers’ in their political discourse.
